Welcome to the website of the Blackpool Chess Conference - the largest weekend chess tournament in Britain. The event is run under the auspices of the Lancashire Chess Association and takes place every year in March.

33rd Blackpool Chess Conference

The Blackpool Chess Conference has moved to Blackpool Football Club, Seasiders Way, Blackpool, FY1 6JJ (Telephone 01253 685021). Next year's event will take place over the weekend of 13-15th March 2009.

We will be using this superb conference centre for the first time next year, ideally located with easy access from the motorway and public transport, with ample parking.

We will be using the Sponsors Lounge, Directors Box and Boardroom for play with several other rooms in the building as well as a separate bar area and refreshments will be available inside the area.

NO FOOD OR DRINKS TO BE BROUGHT ONTO THE PREMISES.
